What is Toddle Tales?

 

Toddle Tales brings the stories of the Bible to life, in an interactive musical session, with the help of props and puppets.

 

What is the aim of Toddle Tales?

 

The aim of Toddle Tales is to teach the Bible stories in a way that is accessible and fun to the under 5s.

How long is a Toddle Tales Session?

 

Each story lasts around 30 min, in the hope that the children will stay engaged for the whole session.

 

What to expect from a Toddle Tales Session?

 

The session is opened with a welcome rhyme and the opening of the Toddle Tales Bible, to see what story they are going to listen to. Each story is built around on average 4 songs. The songs are all interactive, whether there are actions to perform or they have a prop to hold. Toddle Tales is interactive and tactile, so for those children who find it hard to engage, they can at least sit and hold something to feel part of the action.

The songs are all written to nursery rhyme tunes, so that they will be recognised and picked up quickly by both the children and adults. The length of each song varies, but all are generally quite short

Toddle Tales caters for 15 children per session

What are the different sessions available?

1. If you are a parent/guardian then a one off booking would be for you. These Toddle Tales sessions happen at different times of the year depending on the venue. Head to the bookings page.
